A blend is a consonant and a vowel sound together. We are learning to sound out part of a word.
Also, next week your child will have a project to turn in. Your child is to choose a favorite book and decorate a pumpkin (small/medium size) to look like a character in the book. Look in the binder for information sheet on this project. Hello Kitty, Pete the cat, Curious George, Lego Person, etc... are some ideas.
