I can't believe 2012 is  a few hours away from being over. A lot of blessings were had by my family this year and some sorrows. Through it all God has been faithful. I finished reading the book 1000 gifts and have commited to writing in a journal this next year. I am so excited about writing down the things that we should be thankful for. Sometimes in this crazy, busy life we tend to focus on the negative and not the positive. It is so neat how a series of events during these last few weeks have happened to me. Little things that all tie together and all of them share one common thread- Thankfulness. So as we enter this new year, I pray that we all can find the thankfulness in every situation that we find ourselves in. May God Bless you and your family.

Our 2012 ornaments

Chosen because my husband LOVES his coffee
Chosen because our son is taking drum lessons
Chosen because I am an angel- What? Quit laughing- No it was chosen just because I thought they were beautiful
Chosen for our daughter because she works at a steak house when she is not in school and it is what she is always griping about.Ha!

Thank You

Thank you for the beautiful gifts- I loved each and every one of them! You are all so sweet! Thanks again to all the wonderful parents and children. You always brighten my day!

Making Gingerbread Houses

We missed Damon and Bailey today. Damon was sick and Bailey was out of town. I couldn't figure out if the children or the adults had more fun decorating the houses! I think it was the adults!

Happy Birthday Jesus!

Mrs. Janice.Janna, Paige, Anna Brooke, Allie Grace, & Landon brought over a cake. They were having a  Happy Birthday Jesus Birthday Party. The Children loved telling us who the party was for and we all had a good visit. Picture was taken after everyone had a piece!

Note!

Hopefully, I will get caught up on  the last couple of months of blogging that I just haven't had the time for. So if you see pics from the Fall - that's why!

Famous Sighting

Ran into Miss Kaye of those famous Duck Commanders while shopping at Bayou Crafters today. So sweet- those millions haven't made her change at all. She must like to read as much as I do, she had a stack of books. Also, went to the Duck Commander Store- That was just nuts!!!! So many people!Sold out of Si's Tea Cup- Waited to late- Sorry Tracer! Maybe as part of your Valentine's Present.

You made my day!

After a CRAZY day of braving the crowds looking for that just perfect gift, to say I was in a foul mood would be an understatement!  We came home around 10 P.M. and there on our steps, was a gift bag. And it was for ME!!!!!!  I loved my gift! It matches perfectly but you know what I loved even more? My Card! As I was reading it to my husband, I couldn't even finish it because I started crying. He put his arms around me and told me not to cry. He said to me- "See, You do make a difference." Of course that made me cry even harder. So thank you- Your gift was  indeed beautiful but the words you wrote on that card is what I will always, always treasure.  Thank You for taking the time to write those words- you will never know how much they mean to me.  May your family have a most wonderful Christmas and I'm praying that your family will have a blessed year in 2013. Sometimes, it is hard to understand the trials that we go through but through it all God never leaves us. Love, Tammy      PS- Tell my little princess, if she needs to - she can call me! Ha!
