Reindeer Cam

Parents:

Just came across an awesome website for the little ones! It's a Reindeer Cam! The children can watch the reindeer (LIVE) and even watch Santa feed them at certain times of the day. It's really neat and may be something that you want to share with your children.

Stone Soup

We just finished making Stone Soup- together. I love activities that not just teach the children but involve them as well. You know that saying-  "Tell Me- I'll  Forget"- "Teach Me- I'll Remember"- "Involve Me-I'll Understand".  This is so true.  They had the best time. We acted out the story as we made the soup. Mrs. Hilary was the traveler and each of the children were the townspeople. They learned an important story about sharing and they had a good time. They will eat the Stone Soup at lunch.

A new baby to love

My best friend from Missouri came home because her daughter was having her baby. Little Mr. Jace Christopher was born on Tracer's birthday. How neat!!!!!!!   He weighed 8lbs and 8 ounces.

A sweet little visitor

We so enjoyed keeping Mrs. Diane's grandbaby for a few hours! She was so sweet!!!!

Happy 15th Birthday Baby- We love you!!!!

We take a picture of him sleeping every birthday morning.

Tracer celebrated his 15th birthday on Sunday. Of course he had to have a Duck Dynasty cake from Albrittons. While I can't believe he is already 15 years old, I am also very thankful that God allowed him to be with us at all. Many of you know the circumstances(from not able to get pregnant - almost miscarrying him several times during the pregnancy, and being told he was going to be born with a terminal condition. All I can say is that God works miracles and thankfully we have had our baby for 15 years. Not only is he healthy, he has always been an Honor Roll Student, and  loves God.  What more could a mom ask for. And yes, we do still call him- the baby. People will laugh at us sometimes, because if we are out somewhere and he is with friends, Gerald or I will ask, "Have you called and checked on the baby?" and people will say- You have a baby? - LOL He will always be our baby and I am thankful for every second that God allows me to have him.

4-H Fall Foods Festival

Tracer made ,with help from me and mom, this awesome tasting Pumpkin Pecan Praline Pie. He earned a blue ribbon for it. He also brought home a red ribbon for Consumer Foods Judging. We had a large amount of students participating from our school and they brought home lots of ribbons and awards school wide!

Ms. Penny visits

They love when Ms. Penny visits and reads and sings to them. They get so excited and always beg her to sing another song or read to them again. I loved that today when she was talking all about safety and rules that the children would say - "We know what to do,  we learned that in class."

Are you serious???

Saturday I was sleeping in because I have this cold and coughing stuff that is going around. I guess it just can't be helped when you teach a room full of 4 year olds and they love sharing all their little germs! Ha! Well, I wake up to noise coming from the Living room. The following pictures will explain it all. I'm sure those of you with boys and/or duck hunters are all to familiar with this. What was really interesting was them trying to explain why it is necessary to spend that amount of money on a decoy with motorized wings.  LOL Oh and by the way do you know that duck thing just has to have its own backpack?
