Just a little thought..... Some days I wonder if I really make a difference in the lives of the little ones I teach. Last week I was kinda of getting frustrated with trying to find new ideas for the children to do and it just seemed like I couldn't find anything new and fun for the children to do. The next morning while I was reading to them during circle time, one of the children said to me- "I love you Ms. Tammy- you always read the bestest stories to us." That little simple statement from a child just made my day! I knew then that if i couldn't find a new, fun activity for them that that would be ok, because they were happy with me just spending time with them and reading to them.
