For most of our married life my husband has worked away from home or shift work. For the last 5 months he has been working almost seven days of week and lots of hours. Of course, we are so very thankful that he has a job and that he has been able to work. To say it takes a toll on your family life and church life is an understatement. With me working during the day and Gerald working at night, we saw each other for about 30 minutes each morning. Our son really missed him. We have been praying for God to move in our situation. A friend offered him a job offshore and we were praying about if that was what was God's will for our family. We were fixing up his resume when last week his boss came to him and said that a guy on the day shift was quiting to start his on business. He asked Gerald if he wanted his position on DAYS! So we believe that this is a prayer answered and where God wants him for now. God always answers right on time! He is good!
