Enjoyed our visit from Mrs. Jennifer today! She stayed and read a book to the children. She should be back within two weeks! Praying for a speedy recovery.

Fire Safety

The children had a blast when Mr. Robert  (Noah's Dad) brought the firetruck, and other special firefighting vehicles to the school. The loved when the other firefighters sprayed water and foam. They loved hearing the siren. They really learned a lot about fire safety this week and had fun learning too! Thank You Mr. Robert!!!!! Pictures comming soon!

Had a wonderful time this weekend! The weather was absolutely perfect! It is a rare treat for my husband and I to have a day to ourselves much less a weekend- so this weekend was extra special to me! We went to Washington and visited all those wonderful Flea markets and Antique Stores. They also have a great Bed and Breakfast.  My favorite place was the the Antique School House and Gym. Two floors of  stuff!!!!!  I picked up some great items at great prices! I love a good deal. We ate at the Old School House Cafe and wrote our names on the wall. Perfect thing to do for a Pre-K teacher! We also met Taylor for cheesecake and sweet tea. It was so nice to see our baby girl again. She showed us her pictures of her "friend", I don't think Daddy Gerald liked that very much! Ha! She is a very sweet girl and makes good grades. She is very involved in church activities and missionary  work. She has a trip planned in January for Missionary work.

The weather was perfect for our trip to the pumpkin patch! We had a great time! The children enjoyed playing at Kiroli and we adults enjoyed our selves as well.  Pictures will be posted soon. I hope the weather is pretty this weekend. We plan on taking a little trip to some flea markets and  hope I come home with some really neat things. Looking for an old map for the Living room. It has to have a certain vintage look and while I found a few - none of them have that coffee stained look I'm wanting. Oh well- that's part of the fun of going to flea markets- not knowing what you will find!
Hope all of you have a great weekend and hoping a few little ones that are under the weather feel better really soon! (Kelly-Jo, Rhett, Ethan, and Gracie)  Also, this year we have decided to skip the 50 days of school celebration that Pre-K and K usually have. K has deceided to do their community helper day and Pre-K has a Teddy Bear Picnic in the works. I hope the weather continues to be as beautiful as it has been lately so we can host it outside.

Weekend news

What a very busy weekend! Fun but busy! Was able to talk to Mrs. Jennifer. She is doing better and appreciates the continued prayers for her. We are going to do something special for her as a class. Throwing around a few ideas let me know if you have a suggestion. She hopes to be out of the hospital by Thursday but looking at a recovery period of several weeks. I miss her extra help- Yes I do!!!!  God is good! He is always faithful. Like I was telling her, we don't always understand why things happen but God knows. I told her that now she has an awesome, awesome testimony about God's love.   Art & Folk festival was this weekend, but I didn't go, Tracer had to work the 4-H booth and I went to several yard sales. Picked up a cloth Nativity Set with a complete backdrop for the kiddos for $ 1.00! Found an old grain bin scoop for 50 cents, a wooden reindeer for the front porch (Christmas) for $1.00 and a complete set of wooden ABC/occupation blocks for the classroom for $5!  I  love finding a good deal! Tracer and Gerald went hunting Saturday morning for the youth hunt. He was only out in the woods for around 45 min. when he shot a 6 point. He was so excited! We were all excited for him!  I also helped make Hello Kitty cupcakes for Riley's birthday party and enjoyed church services this weekend.
